James Gunn’s Role

James Gunn is in charge of Peacemaker Season 2. He is the showrunner and executive producer. Gunn wrote all eight episodes for this season. He will direct three episodes: the first, sixth, and last. Other directors, like Greg Mottola, Peter Sollett, and Alethea Jones, direct the rest. Gunn directed five episodes in Season 1, but only three now. He has less time because he is also co-CEO of DC Studios and working on the Superman movie.

The team moved filming from Vancouver to Trilith Studios in Atlanta, Georgia. They wanted better studios and more local actors.
