Finally! Bridgerton Season 4 Release Date Revealed – Benedict’s Romance Awaits

LOS ANGELES, CA – The wait is finally over for Bridgerton fans! Netflix has officially announced Bridgerton Season 4 release date. This global hit series will premiere in two parts in early 2026, bringing Benedict Bridgerton’s long-awaited love story to life.

Release Date and Episode Details

Part 1 of Bridgerton Season 4 will debut on January 29, 2026, followed by Part 2 on February 26, 2026. Each part will feature four episodes, continuing the two-part release strategy that proved successful in the previous season.

Alongside the announcement, Netflix released a teaser trailer and a series of first-look images, offering fans their first glimpse of the central romance between Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) and his love interest, Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha).

Benedict and Sophie: A Modern Cinderella Story

Bridgerton Season 4 focuses on the artistic and bohemian second son, Benedict Bridgerton. The official logline reads:

“Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down — until he meets a captivating Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball.”

This season adapts Julia Quinn’s novel An Offer from a Gentleman, a clever twist on the classic Cinderella tale. The teaser highlights their iconic masquerade ball meet-cute, with Benedict and Sophie brushing hands as she ascends the staircase in a silver gown and mask.

The story explores Benedict’s growing fascination with the mysterious “Lady in Silver,” unaware that she is actually Sophie, a resourceful maid working for the formidable Lady Araminta Gun (Katie Leung). The season examines whether Benedict can reconcile his fantasy of the ball’s lady with the reality of the woman he comes to know.

Luke Thompson shared with Netflix’s Tudum site:

“What’s striking about Season 4 is that it’s the struggle between a proper old-school fairy tale — the romance of it — and the actual reality of the world. In its best version, ‘true love’ happens in the middle of that.”

Showrunner Jess Brownell added:

“While Sophie’s story is based on a Cinderella trope, she is no damsel in distress. She is strategic, always thinking two or three steps ahead, and she’s absolutely going to throw Benedict for a loop.”

The Future of the Bridgerton Universe

With Seasons 4, 5, and 6 confirmed, Netflix plans to adapt all eight of Julia Quinn’s novels, promising a long future for the beloved Bridgerton series. Fans can look forward to more love stories, drama, and the dazzling world of the Ton.
