The 33-year-old singer and actress appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on September 9, where she opened up about her wedding plans. Sitting beside her Only Murders in the Building costars Martin Short and Steve Martin, Selena Gomezsaid wedding planning is going “wonderfully” and that she feels “very lucky” and “so excited” about this new chapter in her life.
Martin Short Will Be the Ring Bearer
When Jimmy Fallon asked if her costars will be at the wedding, Selena Gomez happily said yes. She even revealed that Martin Short will have a special role at the ceremony — as the ring bearer!
“Marty’s the ring bearer,” she said with a big smile, making the audience laugh.
Short played along and acted out how he would present the ring, kneeling down and speaking in a funny “Gollum voice” from Lord of the Rings while saying, “Here’s your ring, Selena.”
When he jokingly said her fiancé was “Bad Bunny,” Selena quickly corrected him with a playful smile: “Benny Blanco.”
